The state of Oregon was well represented at the National Pistol Championships at Camp Perry Ohio. With eight members present, they were able to field several teams. In .22 Rimfire, the 2 person team took 1st place and the 4 person team 16th out of 45 teams in a very competitive match. Unfortunately, many of the matches were cancelled due to heavy smoke from the Canadian fires.

Precision Pistol/Bullseye is an extremely difficult shooting discipline and Camp Perry can really put the test to a shooter's skills with extreme weather and competing against some of the best shooters in the country. Congrats to the Oregon Service Pistol Team on a job well done! | |
