Albany Rifle and Pistol Club

The centrally located Saddle Butte facility consists of clubhouse (with small bore, indoor range), 2 rifle ranges to 200 yds. and a classroom. The north range complex has 12 shooting bays designed for pistol class cartridges, with 7 covered firing points, trap range and a heated classroom. The main range and 7 of the North Range bays accessible for the physically disadvantaged.

ARPC’s monthly newsletter reports on club events and includes a schedule of upcoming events and monthly range schedule.

Albany Rifle & Pistol Club is an affiliate of the National Rifle Association and offers the following shooting disciplines:

• NRA Hi-Power and Small Bore (indoor) Rifle Junior and Senior Programs. (Loaner rifles available).

• International Practical Shooting Confederation - Practical Pistol Shooting
• Old West - Western Style Single Action Shooting

• NRA Sanctioned Bull’s-eye Pistol
• Black Powder
• Full Automatic Weapons & Defensive Shotgun

Albany Rifle & Pistol club has a cadre of instructors who offer training in:

• Hunter Safety
• Home Firearms Safety
• NRA Basic Rifle, Pistol & Personal Protection In The Home

Additionally, the club hosts outside trainers for professional instruction not otherwise available in the local area.
