The official Oregon affiliate of the National Rifle Association. 

The Oregon State Shooting Association is dedicated to serving the needs, representing the interests and protecting the rights of all responsible Oregon gun owners.

OSSA believes the framers of our State and Federal constitutions meant exactly what they said, when they wrote “the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”

OSSA is a non-profit association dedicated to advancing shooting sports programs and defending the rights of gun owners. OSSA promotes adult and youth shooting programs, hunter and firearm safety and responsible sport hunting throughout the State.

As the official National Rifle Association state association affiliate in Oregon, the OSSA not only represents the NRA in Oregon, it represents you in the NRA. OSSA is also an affiliate of the Civilian Marksmanship Program.  We keep you informed of important state and federal legislation that may affect your 2nd Amendment rights.

The OSSA is the only statewide promoter of the NRA's Eddie Eagle Program.
